Okay, I know it's a little corny, but I couldn't resist the black and orange greeting... I've been decorating the front yard for the little Trick or Treaters, and I'm still in the mood...I hope the wind doesn't blow away my handmade big as your hand spiders...
Got a special two part tale from Jan in honor of the holiday...do you believe in werewolves? No? Well, you might change your mind after reading The Beast from LBL and From The Woods...in that order, please. Check out the We Get Emails page, there's a new addition there, I've added one to the Untitled Tales page also - It's Number 19...
Well, back to work for Halloween - I have to carve the big pumpkin yet tonight, and then I need to clean up the kitchen so I can make those ghost and pumpkin shaped cookies in the morning...hope I got enough candy this year...

I've left working in my front yard long enough to make this update...I hope you enjoy these new tales...we've got one in the Hard to Explain Section about a form of Night Terrors...or were they? There's an update to the Grim tale, (Now named Grim - the Shadows), plus some experiences with dreams by the same author...I also added a new item to the We Get Emails page...
Back to planting those tulips and daffodils, so I can start getting ready for Halloween...

There's TONS of new stories added this update - you might want to get a cup of coffee or something before settling in to read...it may take you a while! What's new? Well...Jan's been at it again! There's 2 new additions to the site from her...Little Wet Ghost and a commentary about Boogey men... Have quite a few new additions to the Readers Tales section...Karen from San Antonio Texas sent in several tales, you can read them all in I've Got A Story...When by yourself at work, do you ever feel you're not REALLY alone? Strange Happenings at the Office might or might not help...there's even a story sent in by someone all the way from Norway. Brad sent in a fascinating story about a Ghost Father - it definitely creeped me out.
Plus, there's new entries in the We Get Emails page, including an email discussion about a very unusual sighting of an unknown animal...
Once again I've been tweaking my animated banners...here's the newest versions...
Not bad, huh? Not to brag or anything, but I think I did a good job...

Jan's been at it again...you'll find He Sees Dead People and UFO/a 5 Year Old's Memory has been added to her page, plus, she tells us how the entity known as 'Man' was removed from her home in this Update...
There's a new Featured Tale...It's titled "On My Own With The Shadow Man". I have to tell you, I found this story of a long-term 'haunting' so creepy I could only read it a little at a time. Don't read it right before going to bed...
And finally, while we're kind of on the topic, here's another story of Shadow People encounters, on the Hard to Explain Page...the author is asking for information from other people who have had similar encounters; email me to contact him...I will be happy to forward your requests.

She's back... Jan's Tales has several new entries...one story has photos, plus I've added a new section to the page, titled Commentaries, where she talks a bit about Shadow People. That Forest Creature sounds familiar...and there's a very touching and special story about Josh's Angel.

I know I usually update on Mondays... am a bit late this week..
There's a different take on Shadow People in the Hard to Explain Tales section... I say different because these 'Shadows' don't sound like other sightings I've heard about... you'll see what I mean when you've read it. The author would appreciate help - email me and I will forward it to the author...
Checking In is a fascinating story of having an unseen audience of one...
The author of Hopoca Road has sent in the rest of the story in Parts 1 and 2... I added them to the same page as the first part.

In between my gardening projects and spring cleaning, I've managed to add some more stories to the site... In Readers Tales, there's 4 new tales by the same author: Grim, and Third Eye Parts I, II, III.
Be sure to read about a good dog named Michelangelo in the We Get Emails section...

Where DOES the time go?... There's a fascinating development with one of the stories on the site... seems that the former tenants of Sheridan Oregon aren't the ONLY ones who have encountered something there... Be sure to check back for a future update to this story. This also marks a first for Guardian Tales - where 2 different people have experiences living in the same house at different times. I can't wait to see what happens!
I've added more new stories: In Readers Tales there's Frozen in Fear and House on Hopoca Road. And, there's an interesting story about dreams in our Hard to Explain Tales... Read it and see what YOU think!
I don't know how many of you were aware of this, but we used to have a Message Board with MSN Groups... I deleted it due to lack of activity, and time on my part. If you've tried to get in there since the 15th, this is why you were unable to...

I've been cleaning up my emails of story submissions, and found a fascinating story titled UFO Formation by the author of Dopplegangers? It was sent in the same email - I somehow overlooked it until now...I apologize to the author! UFO tales wanted for the It Came Out of the Sky Section - I added one of my own, titled Sighting (the ONLY one I've ever had!) to the Webmasters Tales page...And, since I'm at it, I added another story of mine to the site - it's exactly as I told it in a chat room (the other chatters responses and comments were removed to protect their privacy...) You can find that HERE. There's also 5 new posts on the We Get Emails page...
That should do it for now...

I solved the banner problem...scroll down a bit, and you'll see the final results. Oddly enough, it was the Black background banner that gave me the most problems...
Added a new article to the Famous Cases section. In my opinion, (as cheesy as the movie was) The Smurl Poltergeist remains one of the most fascinating accounts of an encounter with a demonic entity...The next update however, I will post an article about my favourite poltergeist case. What is it? You'll have to wait until it's posted...
The Readers Tales section has some new entries... My Cat and Saying Goodbye are by the same author. There's also a new story in the Special Mention section... Strange Occurrences in my Apartment! The author is currently living there, and I'm hoping she will continue to send me updates to post on the site...
Hopefully all these new additions will help make up for the long wait between updates lately...

I'm FINALLY able to get to this.... Check out the We Get Emails section and read the NEW! messages I've gotten...The Reader's Tales section has several new chillers for you... A Ghost Story to Tell, about a haunting that is ongoing, The Laughing Boy about an encounter in Scotland, and Electrocution - an unpleasant early memory.
Those dang BANNERS should finally be working now...! (sigh).

Some new stories on the Readers Tales Page...Now that they're listed alphabetically, be sure to look for the NEW! markers so you don't miss anything...here's the newest tales: The Doctor's House, Haunted House in Atlanta Indiana, and Little Girl Ghost.
Then I got an interesting email...seems there's an Urban Legend of a sort out in Texas. Maybe you've heard it? Bagman... brrr. Even the name gives me the heebees...

Wow! another year gone by already...hard to believe. I went to Vegas on a little vacation with the family this year...didn't win any money at all on the slots, but I had a good time anyway. It's good to be back home though!
I finally have enough Readers Tales to alphabetize their listing. Am also getting all the pages caught up with some font changes. More stories are coming in the next few days, so keep checking back, okay?
I'm also archiving this What's New page, as well as the Guestbook. The old entries will still be available, just on another page...
