December 24,
2002...
I just want to wish everyone
a wonderful holiday! I will be unavailable to answer emails or update the
website until after New Years Day...if you have story submissions to send in,
you may want to wait until then.
See you in 2003...
December 9, 2002...
FINALLY! New stuff
has been added... my 'real' life has been my main concern these past couple of
months - this is will probably continue. I will update when I can...
Well, I feel kind of
stupid...I was wondering why no one has been signing the guest book, only to
find that due to an error on my part, the new posts were not going in at the
top, but more in the MIDDLE...I believe I've fixed that now...I apologize to
everyone who may have wondered where their posts went...
I'm shifting everything over
to this new font... it will take some time, so bear with me please.
Eventually all the pages will have entirely the same fonts again...
It Came Out of
The Sky is up and running, with
4 Tales
from one unsigned author. In
Hard To
Explain Tales, There's a couple of interesting stories that caught my
eye... The
Armadillo Basket, and an
Untitled
one...
The
Readers Tales
has a new entry...Farmer
Johnson - and his nightly trip... this one I found to be funny and
creepy at the same time...
October 21, 2002...
Finally am adding more stories
to the site! About time, right? I still get emails...be sure to
check We Get
Emails Page 1 for the latest...and, there's one in the Featured Tales
section about a possibly murderous house in
New
Mexico...The author of this story is the husband of the author of the Haunted Trailer tale. She sent in another story, which I have also posted
on the Featured Tales page. I titled it
Sheridan Oregon.
Take a look around the
site...did you notice the background changes? Nothing drastic, just some
'tweaking' so each section has their own version of the forest scene...
September 23, 2002...
Big fun for me this week...I'll
be spending it working on the fonts and otherwise 'tweaking' the website...I
also plan to do some research on some famous cases, to update what is already
here, and to add some more...bear with me...more story submissions will be
posted at the next update...
September 15, 2002...
I've had a flurry of stories
submitted, and am also beginning to make changes to some parts of the
website...adding on, changing a few fonts, and so on...so don't be surprised if
you see that some pages don't quite match the others...
What's new on the story front?
Well, I have some new additions to several pages...in Reader's Tales, you can find
Ghostly
Whisper and the
Powerful
Entity Trapped Within for a start... There's a lengthy and
well-written tale on the Special
Mention page, sent in by 16 year old Kayla. She didn't
title her submission, so I decided to post it under
Kayla's
Tales...(NOTE: Kayla's Tales is now "Ever
Since I can Remember" at her request.)
On the new
Page 2 of the We Get Emails section, there's an email about a rarely mentioned topic on
Guardian Tales...a possible
Alien Encounter...I
have a UFO sighting to post on the next site update, and would love to
get more experiences on this topic. If you've seen a definite UFO, or a
possible alien entity, send it in...
Be sure to check out
Jan's Tales...her
investigation of the
Oak Grove
cemetery has been posted. Oh, did I mention there's
PHOTOS?
And be sure to visit our new
Hard to Explain Tales... for the things
that just don't quite fit anywhere else...
August 17, 2002...
Jan's Tales are here...
It's been a long time coming, but I don't think you'll be disappointed...I
re-read the Story of Man when I posted it, and got the heebees all over
again...It was just as disturbing to me as the first time I read it. I
recommend you have someone else in the house, or at least have a light on.
You'll see what I mean...and, keep checking back - there's a lot more of Jan's
stuff that will be added, including photos.
If you notice something
different about the background on Jan's pages, you're not seeing things - I made
it black and white. Other sections will get a slightly changed background
in the near future.
July 9. 2002...
We have a brand new
Featured Tale
this week... I put it there because it just REALLY gave me a case of the
heebees... go ahead, read it, you'll see what I mean... it's Featured Tale
Number 8, titled
The
Haunted Trailer...
There's a short but sweet tale
added to the Untitled Page... it's
Untitled 18.
And in Reader's Tales, for your enjoyment, we have
Dark Woman in The
Window, and Suicide
and Specters, by the same anonymous author. They're good for a
chill...
You may notice that the
Halloween Page is no more...but keep checking back, because Jan's Tales
is going to replace it...What are Jan's Tales? You'll
see...
July 3, 2002...
Due to computer difficulties, I
was unable to access the Guardian Tales website for over a week...the problem
seems to be repaired now, and after the holiday I'll have more stories posted
for you all to enjoy...have a great 4th!
June 17, 2002...
Latoya has submitted 4 stories
about her experiences in a small town in New Jersey... The first 3, Scared
Witless, Babysitting Spooks, and The Graveyard House are in
the Readers
Tales section, but the 4th one, Strange Feelings, is of a
different nature than the others. So much so that I added it to the
Special
Mention page...
Also, I received another
fascinating trio of experiences by another submitter. I'm posting them on
the We Get Emails
page, however, just as it was received...the story needed too much editing to be
posted on a Tales page, but the title alone made me want to have it
available..."the shadow, a punch
& ozzy osbourne"...
June 5, 2002...
We get Emails
has some new posts... the first one is on the topic of Shadow People.
An interesting encounter, I thought. It makes me wonder just how aware
Shadow People are of US.
May 28, 2002...
A new tale is on the Special
Mention page...it's titled
Ghostless
Haunting ... If any of you have experienced personality changes when
living in a 'haunted' house, I would love to hear from you...
Did you know Guardian Tales has
a Message Board?
I invite you to come visit and join...we talk about lots of things...personal
experiences, famous cases, and so on...I'm always looking for new members.
One thing, though...if you join, plan to be an ACTIVE member...
I know the website has been
slow going for awhile...time keeps getting away from me! I also need story
submissions. If you have them, SEND THEM IN. Have just begun working
on what will be a large addition to the site, and I need time to get it just the
way I want it...be patient, it's coming...
May 11, 2002...
Well, my little vacation from
the site is over... Art Bell, the
host of Coast to Coast AM late night radio paranormal talk show, is suffering
from a mystery illness, and has been too ill to work for the past 10 days or
so... Art sent this email updating everyone on his condition, and it was posted
on his website...to read it, go
here: If you have
never listened to this program and are interested in paranormal topics, I can't
recommend this radio program enough. On most nights, when I'm
online, I have my trusty headphones on, listening to the show...Art is getting
better, and is expected to be back to work on Monday the 13th...
April 1, 2002...
If you still need convincing not to play with Ouija boards,
let me call your attention to our newest Featured Tale,
Planchette....
It must be the season for Skinwalkers - see N.M.
Skinwalkers and
Cryptozoology? on the
Reader's Tales
page. And, catch the newest entries on the
We Get Emails
page for another
Skinwalker tale, plus an email about an unusual animal. Skinwalker
tales are among my favourites, but I NEVER want to actually SEE one...
Have you had an encounter with an unusual
animal? Send it
in...
March 14, 2002...
The last installment of The Guardian,
Part VIII,
AND the
Epilogue is posted. I would greatly appreciate your
feedback on this experience.
Email me with what
you thought, or sign the
Guestbook...
I have to say, I'm greatly relieved to have it finished...
March 8, 2002...
I didn't get an answer to my email to Art Bell (I
didn't expect to, actually - he must get HUNDREDS per day) but I do go out every
day and check for chem trails now...
Guardian Part VII
is posted... Part VII and the Epilogue will be added as soon as I get them
written. I have to confess, I will be DELIGHTED when I finish this
series...it has not been fun to write it.
March 1, 2002...
Here's part of an email I
sent last night to Art Bell...
Mr. Bell;
I, (no doubt like many
others) was basically unaware of chem trails until I began listening to your
show regularly several months ago. I was becoming annoyed about
seeing sunny days (rare enough here)
(Seattle, Washington) become 'hazy' as
the day went on, but didn't attribute them to anything but
the weather. I have to admit that I was at first rather skeptical
about chem trails, but something happened earlier this evening that has
definitely made me a believer.
Riding in the car,
enjoying the sunshine, I began thinking about your program on chem trails,
recalling your state-ments that people from my area had been calling in to
report seeing them. With this in mind, I looked over to my left, and there
were some ordinary looking clouds. This looked
reassuring to me, until I looked to the right...
Hours old chem trails
cluttered up the sky, spreading out
widely. There was no doubt they were NOT clouds; there was no comparison
between the two as I looked left to right and back again. The sky was
hazing up on the side where the chem trails were -
however, I saw NO haziness near the clouds...
A plane just flew
overhead as I type this...I think it may be hard to sleep tonight.
