My
earliest experience with ghosts happened when I lived in Cheyenne Wyoming. We lived in a
small 3 bedroom house with a basement. The basement was the creepiest place and I hated
going down there( I know, it sounds like part of the book IT, but it was true to me.) I
acted just like Georgie in IT when I had to go down there for any reason. There was a dark
presence and it gave me chills every time. I would race down the stairs, get what I need,
and race back up, afraid something was gonna get me. However, this house also had a
visible presence. The way the rooms were situated, the door to my bedroom was directly
across from the door to my sisters, and my mom was down the hall. When the lights were
out, I would lay in bed, and think. One night I turned over, my eyes barely open, and that
is when I first saw it. A blurry dingy white figure standing at my door. My eyes flew
open, and it vanished.
After
that, I tried seeing it, and never failed. I found that by squinting, I could see a
form each night. It seemed male, and definitely exuded a dark feeling. I always got the
worst chills when I knew he was around. He would watch my sister, then would look at me,
and would leave. It seemed he knew I saw him. We tried talking to him one time using a
crystal glass and a circle set up like a Ouija board. My sister and I felt the presence in
the glass just before it flew across the room an shattered on a wall. Needless to say, we
didn't try that again. We finally moved out of there, and last I knew he was still there.
Just a word of caution to any on Miller Lane in Cheyenne. HE may be there...
