UNTITLED TALES

I have a very short tale - up until 6 months ago
(Dec. 2001) I was living with my parents
in Kennewick, Washington in a nice, single storey brick house. We moved
into the house in May of 1976, when I was five years old. My two older
brothers had first digs on the basement rooms of course, since they were
eleven and eight years older than I. I slept next to my parents' room
upstairs until I turned thirteen. My middle brother "Steve" slept in the
basement room adjacent to mine until he moved out in the mid 80's. Every
once in a while I would sleep in his old room, because I had a bad problem
with spiders finding their way into my room and feasting on me in the middle
of the night.
Sometimes, while in the room, I would feel the
covers pressing hard over my face, turning my head at an angle. Being
afraid to move, I would fall back to sleep fairly fast, with memories of the
night before as soon as I awoke. It didn't happen very often to me, but
when it did, I knew that I was awake and aware...
