Some of Them Came With the Toys

This story will have you checking behind and under everything whenever you move into a new home.  This is a story about the stored emotion within a child's toys and medicine.  It takes place in Fort Collins, CO.

The apartment that my new wife and I had moved into from the summer of 2003 to the following summer was (and is) a dank three room cave with two bathrooms.  When we moved in the carpet was so dirty that placing boxes on the ground caused a cloud of dust to billow out from the brown carpet.  The walls were dirty, and the appliances lack cleaning.  We cleaned the bathrooms prior to use.

Almost immediately I had noticed several presences within the apartment.  One set was a partial family, while the others don't relate to this story.  Both my wife and I could feel the presence of several visitors, and this made us nervous.  No single incident happened, just the constant knowledge of their presence.  I felt that the source of the haunting was the kitchen, more specifically, the fridge.  I also noticed that the child, a little girl, kept asking for her toys, and she seemed sick.  The parent (I can't remember the gender, sorry) seemed to worry about the child.

I put two and two together to come up with cleaning out from behind the refrigerate.  On top of finding crush top roman, potato chips and other foods I found several children's toys geared towards a ~3yr old, and children's cold medication.  After I threw out those items the haunting stopped, almost that minute.
