IT CAME OUT OF THE SKY

It Had To Be a UFO

The only way I can date this story is by year, because the night that it happened we were watching a made for TV movie, the premier of "Snowbound" The Jim and Jennifer Stolpa Story, which aired in 1994 (I got this info from the net and could not find a month or date on its showing.)  If someone knew how to find this out, I would have the exact date.

Longview, Texas 1994.  My daughters and I heard a really loud noise, at the time I thought it sounded like a helicopter flying really low.  It was already dark outside.  We got up and went to the door and looked up.  Right there above us was something which we couldn't see except for some lights on four corners and one in the middle.  It seems to me that the four lights in the corners (exactly square) were red and the one in the middle was white.

The noise was really loud, but the night was absolutely still.

We watched this for several minutes until we couldn't see it anymore because of the trees.   My daughters were scared, and when I told them what I thought we were seeing they didn't want to look anymore.  It seemed to move in slow motion and seemed so low we could have reached up and touched it.

Later as I thought this over, I realized that there was no way the object could have been where it appeared to be, because, had it been flying that low, it would have hit hundreds of tall pine trees that surrounded our house.  Also, I thought UFOs didn't make any noise.

If it had been a helicopter it literally would have been chopping these trees down as it went, yet the appearance was as if it was in the trees.

It made me feel strange and even after ten years, I think about it often.
