My Story
I've always encountered strange but true events. The most recent was a couple of years ago. My family planned a reunion for the summer of June, 1999. A couple of months before the reunion, I had a dream about my maternal grandparents. They have both been deceased for 30 years. I was not close to them at all; I barely knew them.
My dream was about the reunion taking place in my grandparents' house. Only deceased members of the family attended. In the dream, I stood in the doorway of the house. Although I could not move away, I could see my grandparents inside, and hear them telling everyone to leave them alone. I could hear and feel the anger in their voices, which became louder. Everyone left the house.
It was surreal, because I was able to come into contact with deceased members of my family. I felt their pain and sorrow from no longer being in this life, and being dead.
My family held the reunion as planned, and while there, my aunt told me a story about the house in my dream. She grew up in the house, having been raised by my grandparents, which were, of course, her parents.
The house is out in the country on 10 acres, and it is fenced in like a prison. My aunt told me this house is haunted by her parents. The closest neighbor has seen lights coming on, and hears cars speeding in and out of the driveway, but has never seen them. Fighting and other noise is also heard. People who once lived in the house apparently claimed that pots and pans were banged around, but not by them.
