Journey Into the Underworld

INTO THE UNSEEN FORETOLD: A JOURNEY INTO THE UNDERWORLD

*Place and time: Mobile, Al. (2002)*

Dreams can be very thought provoking, sometimes they are symbolic, other times prophetic, and yet there are all shades in between in this strange region of the mind, everything from nightmares to release dreams. Some say they've even seen themselves as being in a totally different time-frame, women in corsets sporting hoop skirts, men in top hats and overalls, with strange looking ruffled undershirts.

If we have grown to understand them enough to know what they're about, then how are we still dismissing them? No! Not every dream we have is "just a dream", I honestly don’t believe that. And, besides it really isn't much fun that way is it?

As I have said, when these dreams began they were of my great-grandmother to whom I was favored as being ‘the first great-grandchild’. She would often dress me up, taking me to get my pictures made, while my mother was at work. She would buy me things, and always seemed to have banana Popsicles in her freezer for whenever I came to visit.

I have written in the ongoing 'Third Eye' tales these strange visits into her state of being where she has shown me a place in which she resides that is very beautiful. The shades of nature and of the love and happiness everywhere we turned is just beyond description. Everything around us seemed magnified with beauty and glistened with life.

There were lots of children, children playing in fields, children swinging from rope swings above rivers and then splashing in streams with wild animals at their sides who seemed really to be watching over them. Everywhere I turned there were lots of people going about these important tasks; they all looked so alive and vital, with more than enough strength and energy to accomplish whatever they chose to do.

I remember the warm glow of life as expressed in her smile, wanting to stay, and then with compassion as if she knew my thoughts leading me onto other areas. I had many symbolic dreams in this way.

She's shown me how to solve certain situations in my life through symbolism. If I hadn't had those visions to go by I wouldn't have tried to decipher them, further leading on to what she was trying to convey.

I have seen other things (most recently) beyond that which is good; but do they mean anything? I have seen what has been referred to as a sort of underworld where demons and beasts roam freely with menacing intentions! I've seen them gather into clusters or groups contemplating which action to take to achieve the greatest results. They are the reason for all these things which keep us off balance. If only more people knew. Now, if this was real, I know it to be true!

They can sneak in, then catching us in our most vulnerable moment can make the whole atmosphere seemed bogged down with negativity.

They of course feed off adrenaline, which is good to note; (many people who've studied demonology are not even aware of this) as to why when they are around we don't seem to have all that much energy, we feel drained. It is because of them! That is their energy which is seeping through!

I can say that from time to time I am still taken off to these strange places, some enchanting, some not so enchanting. That is when you wake up having cold sweats!

What I am writing this for today is to see if anyone else has seen these things they believe to be somehow real? Not to be summed up as a vivid imagination, or dreams without meaning, I think there may be something more to it.

I definitely believe in the idea of Heaven and possibly even a sort of underworld as well, (well I think many). These are the more recent, anyway just thought that I would share. –Take care-
