Close Encounters of the Angelic Kind
(NOTE: This tale occurred in the
Winter of 2005, in Mobile, Alabama.)
Hi,
well it's been a while since I've had anything new to share. However, this
encounter was something which really took me by surprise! I used to always
wonder about stories I would hear from others, in reference to Angels, but
could never really attest to having had any "similar experiences" of my own,
that is until just recently! Now, in my opinion, what I had seen represented
two things for me. So, before I get into any of that, I think it best that I
should probably start from the beginning.
It was not so long ago, that I had received news of "an ex of mine" having
passed. Now this is something that I didn't know about, until 2 years after
the fact! Bummer! No-one had told me, and so I just had no idea. I didn't
attend his funeral, or anything else. However, in the short time that we knew
each other, we were really pretty close (alot of scattered memories and so
forth...)
I'd say
it was sometime during the winter of 2006, that I'd received news of his
passing. My step-father was the one who had told me. His nephew is pretty good
friends with my ex's brother, and so my step-father had in turn, heard the
news from his nephew. So, I'd say that he knew for close to 2 years, but
didn't bother telling me, because he knew that it would upset me.
Now, this guy (my ex), he had a lot of problems, became a father at a young
age. And, oh there was so much drama! I'd say that we were dating for about 2
- 3 months when he'd found out that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant. So,
needless to say, it was unexpected for me, and since I didn't know how to deal
with it (I was also pretty hurt), we broke it off. After which, I'd see him
around from time to time, but I guess I really just wanted him to get his life
together. I didn't want to intrude on that. Well, the last time I saw him was
a few months before he died. He'd been out partying, and had stopped by the
house, he was drunk and was making references to ecstasy. I tried to warn him
about being careless, but he wouldn't listen, and I wouldn't get in the car
with him. So, he sped off, and that was the last time I ever saw him.
I keep trying to get the date right, I believe it was January 2004 ("best
guess"). He'd been out partying till 2:00 in the morning, and something
happened. From what I understand, he was in the passenger's seat, and his
friend hit a tree, whereby Shane was then ejected from the car. I'd like to
believe that his death was immediate, but as I've said, I don't really know
any details.
It was later on that week however, that something really interesting happened!
Now, of coarse I'd been grieving, and it was one night that I was walking down
the hall, and looked out of the bathroom window, onto the patio and noticed
this "glowing, bright, round ball of light". I only noticed it for a split
second however, and I just kind of remember stopping, and thinking: "What the
heck was that?" Anyway, that was the first time.
The second time, (I believe this was "the second time") my fiance and I were
sitting out in the shed, on his computer, and he noticed it first! It was
"that same round, glowing ball of light"! When he noticed it, I looked and I
only saw it for a split second. It was in the corner of the shed, and sort of
blinked out once we'd seen it. But, needless to say, it must have been
something, because we both saw it!
The third time, we were walking out of the shed, going inside, and "once
again" he saw it first. It was the same thing, hovering mid-air, just ahead of
us and near the back-door. We both acknowledged what we had seen, thereby once
again, it's fading out.
Now, the reason that I believe this to have been an Angel was because, when
Shane was still alive I had told him of the shadow-like entity that I had
seen. I told him, "But you know, I've never actually seen an Angel." Not
really, not like what others have described them as. And yet somehow I just
knew that whatever it was, that he was a part of it. Around this same time, I
would also notice these tiny balls of light (always 2 of them), go past the
window late at night while out in the shed. I just told myself, it must have
been someone's "headlights". But, of course, they were not head-lights.
Because if they were, one would not be floating above the other; not to
mention the fact that they were also so tiny.
So, anyway, that's what I think. I think that Shane must have been visiting,
along with his Angel. Not so long after this I'd had a dream, in this dream he
was standing beside the bed. I kept hearing him say: "Missy!" "Missy!”. So,
who knows?
