HARD TO
EXPLAIN TALES 11
Angels in Ohio
I am born
and raised in Springfield, Ohio. My husband and I were married and had soon
thereafter found out we were going to have a baby. Unfortunately, the Friday I
had found out I was pregnant, my doctor had called and told me I was to miscarry
and maybe over the weekend. After much cramping and some bleeding, I was
bedridden for a few days. My husband and I had held hands in bed and cried and
prayed to God that should He take our child, we are sure to understand that is
His will.
The next
thing that happened has left me in shock to this day. While sleeping that
Saturday night/Sunday morning, I had a most incredible vision. I was laying on
my back and my torso appeared to be really long, like my body had been stretched
and I was looking down toward my feet. All of a sudden a bright light appeared,
rather smoked. Three small cherub angels appeared.
I feel I
must explain this, I have never much been into religion. I have always felt God
and peoples religion belong to themselves. I had no idea what I was envisioning.
One cherub, seeming to be the most strong natured had red hair, short and curly,
was on my left side closest to me. The other 2 cherub seemed insignificant with
but had different colored hair, one dark and one lighter colored. One cherub on
the right side while two was on the left. They were all crouched beside my
waist. I was drawn to these angels as they gave me the saddest most mournful
smiles and yet a strange happiness filled their faces. The red haired then moved
it's hands and touched my waist. With the same sad/happy expression, the red
haired cherub reached into my lower belly with one hand and I noticed the left
hand of the cherub was cupped. My belly had appeared to be just a pool of liquid
as the cherubs hand removed a small tiny white ball from my abdomen and placed
it in it's left hand.
As the
angels began to leave I happened to notice that what appeared to be baby angels,
were in fact of no sex. They had no sexual organs to differentiate between male
and female. It appeared to be flat. The angels then smiled that sad and happy
smile, filling me with a sense of relief to know that my baby had been taken
care of. The angels then followed the light until it was gone, I then stirred
awake. My husband lying next to me immediately woke and asked me if I was ok. I
smiled at him and told him I was dreaming of angels. I told him later about the
angels I had seen, he had been raised his whole life going to church and being
active with the church and studied the Bible extensively. He explained to me
that cherubs are simply messengers of God. I was confused by the "non-sexual"
appearance of the angels I had seen. He then explained to me that it is in the
Bible that cherub angels are only special messengers of God to do simply the
will of God and they are of no sex. It seemed strange to me to dream about
something so vivid that I knew nothing about. So was it really a dream?
A few years later, we had a son. My husband and I split up when my son was about
7 months old. I moved into an apartment that had a bedroom, bath, living,
and small kitchen in Springfield, Ohio. The house was pretty old. My son was an
exceptionally bright child. He seemed to do everything earlier than most
children. He was walking at about 10 months, and had started his momma and dadda
then also. So by the time he was 1 year old, he had a pretty good vocabulary.
Walking
out of the bathroom one day he looked up and said, "dangels." I couldn't tell if
he was saying "danger" or what. He then started pointing at the ceiling and
saying "dangels." I didn't have a clue what he was talking about. Then in the
living room a few days later, he was staring at the ceiling and smiling and
waving. Ok, this started to unnerve me. He was still saying "dangels." We would
wrestle on the bed, and he would look up and laugh and wave at the ceiling in
the bedroom. I made a joke and started waving with him. I asked him who it was
we was waving at, and he said a little girls name, to which I don't recall. I
said, "ok???" So, I went to his day care and asked if there was a girl there by
that name. No, they said there wasn't. I was confused. I asked everyone I knew,
my son had not been in contact with anyone by that name. Did a 1 year old have
this much imagination?
Later on
he waved again, this time he said it was a family, daddy, mommy and 2 kids. One
looked like my sisters boyfriend who he called Uncle Jack. I then started to ask
more questions, I asked what they wore, he said "nothing." My son didn't just
answer yes or no questions with what popped into his mind. He would answer if he
knew it, if he didn't, he would ask "what?" It had eventually stopped where he
didn't see things or wave to people anymore. I spoke to a friend of my sisters.
She had lived in that same house, in the upstairs apartment with a relative. Her
Grandmother stayed downstairs in what had been my bedroom. This friend said her
mother would get really angry with her mother for talking to people that wasn't
there. Now that gave me chills. My son is now 5 and has no recollection of
things he had seen, I have asked him several times. They do say that children
see things others cannot. I believe he was seeing something that we couldn't
see.
