FEATURED TALES 7
Planchette
It is the real life incident of my own life. I
live in Birati, West Bengal. Our place is not far
from Dum Dum Airport. My elder sister Shanta, my cousin Sumi
and I were like the free birds. We did whatever we wished to do. Just
like that the plan of Planchette came in our mind.
We wanted to do as we had seen in films and had read
in the books.
19th May 1999. It was too hot. From 11pm we gathered everything we required,
like: in a paper we wrote the questions, we made a board where we wrote
every possible answers, one candle, one coin etc. We
turned off all lights and dropped the curtains so
that the lights of outside could not come in. We started to
concentrate at 12.30am.
First Shanta tried to concentrate, but she failed. Sumi tried and failed also.
At 1.15am my turn came. I started that by saying, “If there is any good
soul around us, come and show your presence in the
coin.” My eyes were closed. I was thinking about a
white clothed person was coming out of the grave. After 10
minutes suddenly I feel that the coin slightly moved. I opened my eyes
and looked at my sisters. Shanta realized the same
thing, but Sumi did not realize that. We made fun of
it and slept. 3rd June 1999,we watched a nice
and romantic movie and when we went to sleep it was
11.45 pm. I came to my bed.
After 10/15 minutes I was in the state of pre-sleep
stage I heard some noise. It was coming from our dining room, which
was just after my bedroom. I looked there from my bed and saw Shanta
and Sumi were making fun, drinking water and
laughing in a low voice. I was scared to think that
if Maa (mother) woke up she would never allow us to see late night
movies. I went to the dining room and saw they were gone from that
place to their bedroom. I went there to give them
threatening about Maa. I said, “What are you both
doing?…Shanta…Sumi?” Just then I heard the sound of the deep
breathing of both of them. That means they were in deep sleep. I can’t
say how much fear I had at that time. And I don’t
know how I came back in my bed. The next morning I
asked them about the matter. They said they did not know and none
of them woke up at any time of that night. Our parents made fun of the
matter.
But Shanta and Sumi took it seriously. My question is what was that two
shadows?
After 2/3 days, in another morning Shanta told us about the previous night’s
incident. Sumi’s exam was near. She was studying late night. Shanta
could not sleep as Sumi was reading in a loud voice.
Once the voice stopped and the door of Shanta’s
bedroom opened. Shanta thought to say Sumi to turn on the light and
made her bed ready to sleep. She was just opened her mouth to say, at
that very moment she heard the voice of Sumi who was
reading till that moment. Shanta was
very scared. Now the question is who opened the door of Shanta’s room?
After that nothing was scaring with Sumi and Shanta. But with me? Yes, I have
much thing to say about this. I heard the scratching sound on the
railing of my bed almost every night. Very recent I
have another kind of experience till this date. At
12pm a sound comes as somebody is shaking our TV. I wake up and see a
male shadow in front of me. My sense says he is in a black shirt, tall, dark,
aged about 26 yrs and not so good looking and he just looks at me very
normally.
After that I change my side. That time the dogs of our locality bark. It
happens everyday. First I did not tell anybody about
this. For few days I was not at home. So, my younger
sister, Shaily, captured my bedroom. She saw the same
thing. When I came back she told me about that. There are two
differences in our visions. She saw the boy was
wearing white shirt and he was looking at her with a
very angry mood. But he never does this to me. Even I don’t scare him now. I
know that there is somebody, but still I can sleep very nicely. So,
guys if there is any paranormal thing in your home,
see whether it is good or bad. Then do anything to
sweep it.
Shanta and Sumi are married now. They are happy with
their husbands. I am also happy, as the spirit is not doing anything to me.
Now we three sisters decide to let him go back to
heaven. He is very innocent and nice. So, we must
release him.
