Today is Thursday April
17th. My wife Karen just talked to her brother Roger and he knows somebody
who lives (but is about to move out) in the creepsville duplex in Sheridan
Oregon.
Roger told Karen that his
friend one day out of the blue said, 'hey do you believe in ghosts?' and then
proceeded to tell him that they have been experiencing the very SAME things that
we experienced. He said that he had read on the net about a woman who lived in a
haunted house and he realized that it was his house she was describing in
Sheridan, or on center St. He said she was named Karen A. and Roger said that's
my sister!
He also said he found out
that a woman had killed herself and her children in the house. (Our
daughter on several occasions said she 'saw' a woman 'hanging' in the tree
outside in the yard. Her words.) He also told Roger that one night
he and his wife went to check on their 6 month old baby and it was choking with
one hand raised out\up and was PURPLE. They also say the 6 month old stares at
something all the time but the 6 year old doesn't see anything.
It sounds to us like
things have gotten worse in that place since we moved. Right when we moved my
wife said the very first night in our new apt while I was at work someone or
something 'banged ' on the BEDROOM DOOR IN THE NEW APT very loudly. Naturally
she didn't answer it. Since that time we have heard that if your hear bangings
or loud knocking on your doors don't' answer it as you will let whatever's
knocking in your house.
We are going to talk to this guy about that place and when we have more details
we will let you know what we find out.

Hello,
This email is for Karen A., apparently she used to live here in this duplex &
also has had paranormal experiences. My name is Ryan M & I would like to tell
you about how I came to find your site which is where I discovered her story
about our house. It's not surprising that other people have had strange
experiences here, but what is surprising is the randomness of the events that led
me to this point. It's evening time, April 9th 03`,& I just got back from the
store with baby food when a girl with her friends was walking by & stopped me as
I was getting out of my car. She said "this may seem like a weird question, but
do you know of any haunted houses around here?" I looked at her for a second and
replied " Well, there is a ghost in my house", because I really do
believe that
there is at least one spirit with us at certain times, and told her how my
girlfriend Jessica was freaked out by it one night. She said she was doing a
paper on the subject & wanted to talk to her about it. We invited this young
lady in and she told us a lot of history concerning this dwelling she found out
on the net. That's when I decided to look for myself and inadvertently came upon
you at G.Tales by searching Sheridan Oregon. She told us basically that this
duplex was built on a foundation of a house that housed a family (of course).
This family supposedly had a jealous wife that killed their the kids &
distrusted the husband. Therefore the woman's spirit is supposedly placid around
men but does not like women or children. There is a lot I didn't hear because I
was putting Kali to sleep (our 6 month old daughter) when she was explaining to
Jessica about it's history.
But somehow it seemed like this was the place she was talking about (between) two
older buildings). I will find out the details about this house and if your
interested, & I think you are, we can talk. Now let me tell you about what we've
experienced in our little 5 month stay here. Jessica was asleep with Kali on the
couch in the living room while I was in the bedroom, (we must have been fighting
or something.... ever since we moved in we seem to get into a lot more arguments
about stupid s*** than we've ever had before) when she heard terrible & heavy
angry breathing (like someone was standing by her looking down with obvious
exasperating anger in their breath & presence) she knew it was not me when she
heard me snore and then became very frightened. Kali bent her head & looked in
the direction of the breathing until Jessica ,who was too scared to look in
that direction, pulled the blankets over she & my daughters head & whispered
for her to be quiet. The presence was gone shortly after. Other things happen
like the TV or radio turning on once in a while, house shifting around,
misplaced items, very cold spots (especially in the hallway), and the most
frequent of occurrences is Kali's play toy station (that activates music by
kicking or pushing buttons) frequently turning on when no one is near it (one
time we saw the foot switch move). There is a lot we don't know in respect to
this house and to the afterlife but we will find out. When I get the rest of the
info I will try to send it to you or post it here in G. Tales. Also this may not
mean much, but there is something about the little stick dolls & noose hanging
in the basement that catches my curiosity. Out of all the places to move into I
hastily chose this place. Wow, we sure can pick the winners! ;}

Paul A. here. Wow my wife
and I just read her e-mail from you about the haunted
(ADDRESS) St. house. My wife
is pretty freaked out. This is just more strangeness on top of strangeness. Your
e-mail talked about the hanging dolls in the basement, our daughter talked about
seeing the hanging woman. Whoa. Our daughter also saying "I love you too"
to the empty air ewww, freaky! When we lived in this house the movie the Blair witch
came out, and strangely enough that is what we started calling this house of
ours. The Blair witch house. Cause it off the intersection of Blair and
(ADDRESS)
Hanging dolls!!.. wow too strange. We had never seen those. Maybe it's good we
didn't know how right on that name really was! IT'S definitely the same
place (the little yellow duplex at the end of
(ADDRESS)). Also mentioned was
the woman's spirit not bothering men just women and children. When my wife and
children had that choking pepper spray type attack and I could not feel it or
smell it or was not affected by it in any way. The earthquake I felt while alone
during the day (the house shifting). We are not going to e-mail Ryan we are just
going to go up to the house on
(ADDRESS) where they live to talk to them. Many
times we have driven by the house and wondered if anybody else had any strange
stuff happen. Well now we know.

Hello, I sent Ryan an email and cc'd a copy
to you. This is the same house. It's
(ADDRESS)
St. The same yellow duplex. We drove by it not too
long ago, wondering if the people there were having
any experiences. I was tempted to stop, but decided
against it, because most people are so close-minded.
I have never been so terrified in my whole life at
that house. It aged me there. There was so much bad
energy there, you could feel and hear it. I swear. I
also swear that all of what I said has, and did happen
to me, my husband and my 2 children. The history of
the house was always a mystery to us until Ryan,
happened to walk up to my brother, who he works with
at the local casino, and asked him if he believed in
ghosts, and said he read a story from a "Karen A", and
that she lived in the same house. To my brother
Roger's surprise, it was me, and our old spooky house.
Roger really remembers our problems we had there,
because I borrowed his gun , and I hate guns.
Please reply, this is too weird and too much of a
coincidence.

Hello Ryan, I am Karen A.
I understand that you are now living in the creepy
(ADDRESS) St.. house of ours.
(ADDRESS) right? You would not believe the stuff that happened to us there. I used to
carry my brother Roger's gun around and I hate guns. I was that terrified.
We used to hear the kitchen cupboards opening and closing, our 3 year old
daughter used to say there was a woman hanging in the tree, she also used to say
there was a woman monster in the bathroom. One night, she told me she loved me,
then turned to her dad and told him she loved him, and then turned towards the
hallway, where no one was, and said I love you to the hallway. One morning, my
13 year old son and I went into the kitchen. I noticed that he was starting to
cough and choke and sneeze. I asked him what was wrong, when suddenly, it was as
if someone had pepper sprayed me right in the throat. I was also choking and
gasping. I screamed for my husband and when he came in, the smell did not effect
him at all. We then all ran out of the house.
One afternoon, we seen a shadow of a man run around our house, and no one was
there or no car was around. The TV would come in the living room all by
itself in the middle of the night full blast. The banging on the bedroom door at
night, and something erased my sons memory cards while he was in the middle of a
game. Our front door would be unlocked all the time even though we would lock
it. One morning I got ready for work and I seen a woman wearing an old, raggedy
grey dress. She had no face or head or feet. She was floating from down the
hall, coming from the kitchen towards the bathroom, where I was standing in
front of the washing machine. I ran into the bedroom and woke my husband up
crying. I was afraid to leave him and our daughter and son in that house when I
went to work that day.
Please contact us immediately and I am so glad to hear you are moving ! I highly
recommend it ! That is one active house. I used to have repeated nightmares that
there were about 40 people buried in that big field in the back of the house.

Well, I tried my best to get a
hold of Ryan, and no
such luck. I have even left him a voice mail message.
I had the address wrong on purpose, most places wont
print the real address. It's the same, creepy yellow
duplex on the left. They tore down the abandoned
house that was on the right side, and re-rented the
other one that I heard the moaning dog from on the
left side. I don't think I could ever step foot inside
(ADDRESS) again. Whatever is there, doesn't like me at all.
I sure would've liked to seen the stick dolls Ryan
talked about. Creepy. You could feel, hear and smell
the bad energy in that place. I swear it, and man did
I dread the night time coming. Because it meant I
would be home all alone, and my husband was working
the late swing shift. Thanks for letting me share my
experiences.

I'm sorry to hear that Ryan hasn't gotten back to you.
Do you think he could have moved out already? I
think you've more than proven your interest - if he
wants to continue, he'll contact you. I do think it's
very interesting that he hasn't gotten back to you
though, when he is the one who initiated the
contact... hopefully there's nothing wrong. I wonder
- perhaps his wife didn't want him to, or perhaps he
simply changed his mind, or something. It's hard to
tell.
I have to tell you that I think you're very courageous
to even try - if it were me, I don't think I would be
brave enough to even make the offer! It's been many,
many years since I lived in the 'Guardian' house, and
I still would not willingly go back there...

KARENS EMAIL TO ME:
Hello again, I just wanted to tell you that I spoke
with my brother Roger, who works with Ryan, and he
told me that he hadn't seen Ryan at work for awhile.
Well Ryan took some time off to move. He's paying rent
on two places right now just to get out of the
(ADDRESS) house. I know that feeling exactly. That house
is truly evil.
Ryan also told my brother that his
computer was messing up and he hadn't been getting any
messages. I'm so glad they're out. No children or adults for that matter, should live in that place. It
could hurt someone someday. It used to bang on my
bedroom door when I was alone in there with my 2 year
old when my hubby was at work nights. I would push my
TV and stand against the door I was so scared.
My daughter was asleep most of the time, thank god, so
she never witnessed my fear either. I would just
tremble.
The only other house that made me feel like
that was my mom's old trailer. I have posted stories
all over the net about that one too. It was bad. A
different type of energy altogether than the
(ADDRESS) house. I am going to try and email Ryan again,
now that he is out. He also told my bro that each time
they go back to get their belongings, the
(ADDRESS) house
feels worse. I remember that too, it is as if the
house spirits didn't want us to move because then they
couldn't terrorize anyone anymore I think. Hope to
hear from you soon. My dig cam gave out, but I got a
35 mm with flash and I went to the house at midnight
by myself and took pics of the house and the land
around it and the abandoned land where the banging
sounds used to come from. I will be developing these
next week.
I have filled it up with haunted sites all
around that we have been finding. We drove on a back
road (gravel), from Salem and we drove by this old
abandoned building next to an abandoned mill, and
there was a blue glowing light in there. My 15 year
old son seen it with us. I want to go there after
midnight soon and take some pics with this camera. I
wont go alone there. It's pretty remote. The
farmhouses are few and far between.

Karen; I have to say that I for one am GLAD that
neither Ryan or you live in that house any longer...
but I am wondering about the NEXT family that moves in
there...do you know if the landlord has any idea about
what's going on there, or do they just not care? To
my mind, if something is strong enough to pound on the
door, it's then strong enough to injure people, or
affect things like computers and phones... I really
wonder about the history of that house, and the
buildings around it... didn't you say it's a duplex?
Do people live in the other half? If so, what are
THEY experiencing? It makes sense to me that Ryan
would develop computer problems... and also, what you
were saying about 'it' not wanting you to move out,
because then it wouldn't have anyone to terrorize made
sense too. In my own experience with an entity, (in
the Guardian Tales) the only roommate to say, "Yeah,
there's something here, but it's okay IT CAN STAY."
was the only one to get 'punished' by the entity when
we decided to move out... Maybe after Ryan gets
settled in his new place, and feels a bit safer, you
will be able to meet and talk with him about that damn
house... I greatly appreciate your keeping me updated
on this - I plan to post this story on the website
when it's over, (with yours and Ryans' okay) but I'm
also 'glued to the screen' to see what happens next...

Hello and yes I too, and glad no one lives there at
the time. I think the landlords have changed since we
lived there. They were pretty narrow minded people if
you know what I mean. When they were showing us the
duplex, Mrs. XX mentioned a story about one of
their residences they owned having a woman that died
there, and I asked her: "It's not this one is it?" and
she laughed and said no. Hmmmmm Now I'm beginning to
wonder if that was her way of telling me a hint.
Ryan
and his wife spoke with a girl that told them about
the history of the land the duplex is built on. A
woman killed her 3 children, and then herself. My 2
year old daughter used to say "Woman, hanging in the
tree". Now Ryan told my brother he found nooses
in the basement under the house. Also, he told
my brother that his wife had a dream about the woman
there and the woman told her that you can love too
much, and that her husband loved her children too much
and she was jealous of them, so she killed them and
herself.
She liked men. My husband was not affected at
all when my 12 year old son and I were choking like we
were pepper sprayed in our throats and eyes. My
husband literally was sniffing and smelling all around
where my son and I were choking in the kitchen and he
was not affected at all. Ryan also told my bro he
found voodoo like stick dolls, also where the nooses
were.
I'll update you often. Thank you for letting us
share this experience. I thought I was losing my mind
there or imagining it all. I could not believe what I
was seeing, hearing and smelling. Ryan's baby was
purple, and choking they said. No one should live
there. It's full of rage still. The woman that I seen
floated from around the kitchen which is where I would
hear the cupboards opening when no one was in there.
Our answering machine, Playstation, TV, computer
would all malfunction.
You can post any part of this
you want, thank you for sharing our experiences with
us, as someone who understands, I feel comfortable,
and actually relieved, that I can share with someone
that believes me and Ryan too, because he was there
and it's real. It doesn't look haunted at all. My
husband told me he didn't think the house would let me
contact Ryan. Yet, my brother Roger is freaked out too
by all this, because Ryan comes up to him at work, Why
him? , and asks if he believes in ghosts, and begins
telling the story about this haunted, yellow duplex on
a hill in Sheridan that someone named Karen A. lived
in too that he read on your website. Roger knew it was
our old place, because I borrowed his gun when we
lived there, and he knows I hate guns. That is just
how freaked I was alone there at night.

Hello, I wanted to let you know
I e-mailed Ryan one more time. My brother told me he
was having problems with his computer. The neighbor
that lived next door in the duplex, (there are only
the two places to the place), said that she never
heard anything. She was kind of naware.
One of the type of people that doesn't believe in
ghosts until she has an experience some day of course.
She did used to tell us
that her door would be unlocked when she would get
home and nothing would be taken or out of order, also
that her side of the gate would be open, and she
always kept it closed. She thought my husband was
opening it at night when he got home, because we told
her that sometimes I had him check around the house
when he got home because at first I thought it was
teenagers, or burglars or something explainable. I'll keep you posted.

Hello once again San, I still
havent heard from Ryan, but my brother just told me
that he's back at work, out of that house, and still
wants to talk to me. I will continue to keep you
posted, and you can post all my experiences and
everything like I said except those names of the
landlords. I appreciate that.
I also think that the reasons
why no one feels anything over on that side are
because A: they aren't perceptive to the spirit world.
There are people who can and people who just don't
have a clue even though they are like you said right
there. B: All of the people that I noticed that live
there are religious, church going people, they may
have crosses, and any types of holy items, bibles,
holy water, I have heard that entities or bad spirits
don't like those things.
These are just my theories, I
have no clue why no one feels anything on that side,
unless the house that the woman killed her children in
had burned down, and the duplex on that side wasn't
part of the old house? I have not a clue. I will be
developing the pictures on my disposable 35mm camera
tomorrow. I will let you know if anything shows up. I
went there alone, right at midnight and took flash
photos of the place and the land behind it. I'll keep

Hello, Just a
quick note to let you know I met Ryan. I haven't met his girlfriend yet. We plan
on all 4 getting together soon. He has more interesting stuff to share about
their experiences. I thought ours were bad. I told him also that you wanted to
do our story and he seemed eager to too. He was busy moving out in a hurry ,
like we did.

posted. Ryan is also repairing his computer. When we lived in that duplex, our
hard drive
got mysteriously erased. Ryan hasn't been able to get any emails.
