Shadow People
Have
you seen one? A black or dark form out of the corner of your eye, swiftly
moving across the room, only to disappear when you turn your head. Maybe
you've been video taping an event, only to see one of these 'beings' in the
background, disintergrating even as you catch them on film. Did you awake
suddenly to raise your head and see something crawling on the wall? Or have
you been able to watch one when looking at them directly? Do they look human
in form, crouching down, or rushing about, aware of you or not, or do they
appear to be something else altogether? What type of feelings do they give
you? Friendly, indifferent, or evil? Are you curious, awed, or just
terrified?
The
debate rages on as to just what these Shadow People are...one theory appears
to be they are from another dimension, able to be seen by those of us who are
able to tune in to other levels of awareness. Time travelers are another
suggestion. (I have to admit to extreme skepticism over that theory.) So
far, I haven't found anything that would support the theory that these beings
are demonic...but that doesn't mean they aren't. In fact,
the most common thread seems to be that they are rushing about minding their
own business, and are not eager to interact with us directly at all. Sort of
like walking in on someone when they are changing clothes--you just want to
get out of there as soon as you can, and just ignore that anything had
occurred.
One
of the most fascinating theories I've heard so far is the one that Shadow
People are just that - Shadows. Of what, you ask? Well, of ghosts,
of course...I am a bit confused as to how something we cannot see can cast a
shadow, but if there is something there, it could be possible they could
somehow affect light enough to cast one. I'm not sure HOW they could, but I
am willing to at least consider the possibility. One thing I'm becoming more
and more certain of, however, is that Shadow People are real.
As
to the increase in information in general on this and other paranormal events,
I would have to say that I am not certain whether it is due to an increase of
the phenomena, or if it is due to a greater willingness on our parts to share
our experiences. As society becomes more tolerant towards paranormal
investigation and discussions, people are stepping forward to talk about their
personal encounters. More people are looking to capture evidence, more people
are asking questions. Could this also mean that as we become more willing to
accept paranormal phenomena, to look at it, to study it, we are unconsciously
opening the door between our world and theirs? Are Shadow People here to
study US?
